Anarchism calls for the abolishment of unjustified forms of authority. If any oppresive hierarchal system (e.g. government, capitalism, etc.) exists, anarchism wants it gone and instead seeks a society with decentralized, self-governing communities that don't adhere to a larger country. According to Anarchism, all people should organize without relying on a state. Despite Anarchism picking up some momentum, especially the years leading up to WW2 where fringe movements like communism saw traction, anarchism never got picked up as a state ideology by any nation-state.

    No no rules. Yes rules.

The word 'anarchy' comes from the combination of the Greek prefix 'an-' meaning without and 'arkhos' meaning rulers, so literally 'without rulers'. One major thing you should know about anarchism is that it rejects hierarchy, not societal order. Some anarchists, like Kropotkin, wrote in his book Mutual Aid: A Factor of Evolution that hierachy isn't necessary for order as human society already self-organize through cooperation.

    Anarcho-Communism

Anarcho-Communism or shortened as AnCom pushes for the abolition of private property (anything that can be used to profit off of, land, factories) and argues that (private!) property should be communally owned, mananged by the workers themselves. Money would also be abolished and people would contribute what they can and take only what they need. Think self-reliance with mutual care. AnCom is somewhat similar to Communism but it rejects the idea of a transitional state to stateless society, seeing it as a trap into permanent rule (see USSR).

    Anarcho-Syndicalism

Anarcho-Syndicalism wants to achieve the main goal of anarchism by forming labor unions (or syndicates) and want to strike at capitalism by rejecting wage labor and going on strike and sabotaging. Then, when the union has grown so large it can cause the economy to come to a complete stop it can dismantle the state and bring about the stateless, moneyless society that communism (and anarchism) hopes to achieve.

    Anarcha-Feminism

Anarcha-Feminism doesn't believe that true gender equality can be achieved through reforms performed by the state, seeing the patriarchy something deeply entrenched with capitalism, the state (and religion), all of which must be removed. Anarcha-Feminism also sees traditional marriage, gender roles and (compulsory or expected) heterosexuality as unequal and oppresive. They also believe that mainstream feminism relies too heavily on the state, since to enact change feminist ideas must first get through the government.

    Green Anarchism

Green Anarchism calls for a complete 180 and sees factories, industralism urbanization and globalization as a whole as destructive. They want a decentralized, sustainable non-harming way to live in harmony with nature and see nature not just as a resource for humans but having natural value. Common acts of sabotage include tree spiking (inserting a spike into a tree log so chainsaws break when trying to cut it down) and monkeywrenching (destroying bulldozers, road-building equipment, etc. anything that helps urbanization basically) and argue that sustainibility is impossible under capitalism.
