Responsible leadership!

Homepage

Welcome to the homepage of the Party of Democracy! We are the oldest aswell as the largest political party of Country. We have essentially birthed democracy into our politics, setting the absolute monarchy aside in favour of a system that truly acts in best interest of the people.

Our Missions

#1
A predictable and strong growth of the economy with minimal government interference
#2
Higher paying salaies and a house for every hard worker in Country
#3
More funding towards defense and stricter border patrol, especially for our border with Autocracy
#4
A smaller and economized government with less bloat
Everyone wants to progress, but they also expect something from you in return for it. We don't want any of that. We just want to protect your liberties.

PARLIAMENTARY VOTE

Congestion Charge Zone for 2nd Biggest City (GP, PP)
Our position is a NO! This bill wants to put a fee on people that drive in busy areas of the 2nd City. Putting an unnecessary burden on car-driving citiens for going to work or otherwise isn't what we stand for. You should be able to choose when to drive your car, not the government.

The racial attacks against two of our citizens is a shock to our party. We as a country have always prided ourselves on our tolerance and acceptance. It seems that the migrant-hating circles that plague Country, their growth and popularity indirectly stimulated by the FFA, are becoming more and more reckless by the day. This is unacceptable. Racism and xenophobia are completely unconstitutional, and however much the FFA denies its involvement with these groups, it is an unspoken truth that they are rallying these otherwise uneducated and gullible people.

The FFA has embarrassed parliament with another one of their baseless speeches about how migrants are ruining this country. Stunts like this is why public trust in parties is slowly eroding. Political parties are not supposed to be polarized tribes like the FFA wants but collaborating think tanks that work together, compliment or constructively criticize eachother.

Data privacy has been lacking, which is why we've been busy working around the clock to have our and PP's MPs draft a still-in-concept brand new data transparency bill. You, dear citizen, should have the right to see, correct, and demand deletion of all of your personal data held by corporations. Details are still hazy, but we're thinking of a 3% global turnover if said corporations refuse to comply.

Our party has seen a staggering 2% increase of votes compared to the last election, making the PoaD tied with the OSA at 226 (~15% of total) parliament seats. Though, as formateur, we have persuaded four parties to enter in a coalition with us.
