स्वागतम्!
Hinduism has its roots tracing back to around 4000 years ago, starting in the Indian subcontinent located in Asia. Hindus, followers of Hinduism, refer to their faith as Sanātana Dharma meaning 'Eternal Law' or 'Universal Way'. Hinduism believes in reincarnation, referring to the the cycle of rebirth as Samsara with Moksha, liberation from being rebirthed, as the ultimate goal to re-unite with the divine (Brahman).
Brahman
Brahman is seen as the ultimate, formless reality or just the universe's divine essence. Hinduism has various gods, seeing them as together forming a singular supreme reality. Brahman can be considered as two concepts, Saguna Brahman where Brahman manifests as the gods and Nirguna Brahman, without attributes so the absolute reality.
Cosmic Cycle
According to Hindu cosmology, the universe is created and preserved before being destroyed once more only for it to be re-created thus creating an infinite cycle. Brahma, the Creator, first emerges from Vishnu's belly button. The universe exists for one 'Day of Brahma' otherwise referred to as Kalpa, which lasts 4,32 billion years in human time before it dissolves into choas once more. After the Pralaya or the Night of Brahma (period of chaos, which also lasts 4,32 billion years) the cycle restarts once more.
Dharma
Dharma is basically the duty one has to being. For example, a teacher has the duty to teach and a farmer the duty to plow. According to Hinduism, you aren't born into something with casuality but rather as a result of the actions they've taken in a past life. Karma, or everything you've done in a life dictates what you'll be born as in the next one. Someone who's lived a good life (by following one's dharma) would be reborn as something better in the next life.
Trimurti
The Trimurti are the three most important aspects of the gods of Brahman, them being Brahma (the Creator, not Brahman) who creates the universe and all living beings, Vishnu who protects said universe and keeps cosmic order intact and Shiva who is responsible for destroying the universe that Brahma creates so that when the Night of Brahma passes a new universe can be created.
