History
Long ago, a large fleet of foreign boats stranded on the continent Country, Autocracy and Vassal reside on. Their strong boats, on the sea for so long, were unfit to turn back home. They settled on the new land and set up their very own colony, and with their superior technology, started to slowly subjugate the terra nullis that surrounded them. As time passed and the population became overwhelmingly Indigenous, the Foreign population became split. Part of them started to intermingle with the Indigenous peoples while the others strictly reproduced with their own kind, which would eventually cause three main pillars to form that made up New Land's population.
Technology
The ignorance of the very first colonizers in passing on their knowledge of their original homelands caused their descendants to slowly lose and mythologize their past. Seeing as they were completely lost at sea, presumably for years with intermittent stops, there is no real way of retracing their origins. The edge that their advanced techniques harbored, first a novelty, eroded as other societies adapted, which also halted further expansion.
Present
New Land is a slightly backlogged and conservative nation. Its society is fractured between fear of social change and progression, which makes innovation harder to promote.Economy
